The North Buncombe Black Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers to 0 in the Black Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Black Hawks now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 20. North Buncombe will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.

The Mountaineers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Erwin defeated Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
