North Carolina High School Volleyball - Piedmont crushed by West Stanly

In Monday's non-league match, the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Colts battle the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a Rocky River 4A/5A match, on Tuesday, August 19. West Stanly will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).

With the loss, Piedmont drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to clash with the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 20. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the bout with a record of 1-3.
