In Monday's non-league match, the Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) volleyball squad tipped the host Soddy Daisy Trojans (Soddy Daisy, TN), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Golden Eagles battle the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 21. Rhea County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the loss, Soddy Daisy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN) to clash with the Bears in a AAA District 6 bout on Tuesday, August 19. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
