Georgia High School Volleyball - Savannah Athletic Association bounced by Veritas Academy

Veritas Academy Gryphon (Savannah, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Savannah Athletic Association Jaguars (Bloomingdale, GA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Veritas Academy improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Gryphon travel to Augusta Eagles (Martinez, GA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. Augusta Eagles won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA)

Next, the Jaguars meet the Trinity Christian (Statesboro, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Savannah Athletic Association will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bible Baptist Christian (Statesboro, GA).
