Texas High School Volleyball - Calallen over Calhoun

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) and the host Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), saw Calallen's volleyball squad beat Calhoun by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Calallen upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Bishop (Bishop, TX) to play the Badgers in a non-league bout on Friday, August 20. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Bishop won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX)

The Sandcrabs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Calallen for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 24. Calhoun will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-5.
