The Cuero Gobblers topped the host Gonzales Apaches volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Gobblers now have a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schulenburg for a non-league test on Thursday, August 19. Cuero will confront a Shorthorns team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bellville (Bellville, TX). The Shorthorns record now stands at 6-4.
The Apaches (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX). The Shorthorns enter the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Schulenburg was knocked off by Bellville (Bellville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
