Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Scorpions face the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 20. Farmington will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM).
The Bobcats now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Aztec for a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, August 19.
