Texas High School Volleyball - Weiss edged by Abilene

The Abilene Eagles held off the host Weiss Wolves volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A&M Consolidated for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. Abilene will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 6-9.

The Wolves (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX). The Bears enter the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Brentwood Christian was nudged by Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
