The Bulldogs now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McMullen County for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. Thorndale will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Charlotte (Charlotte, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-3.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Flatonia gained a win over St. Paul (Shiner, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
