The Grovetown Warriors softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Glynn Academy Terrors to 1 in the Warriors league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Grovetown improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a 6A Region 2 game on Tuesday, August 22. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 3-1. Effingham County won 9-0 in their recent league game against Lakeside (Evans, GA)

In their next game, the Terrors clash with the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) in a 6A Region 2 game, on Tuesday, August 22. Glynn Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Harlem (Harlem, GA).
