The Dragons now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Gretna East for a non-league match on Monday, August 21. Gretna will face a Griffins squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Burke (Omaha, NE). The Griffins record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Lincoln East falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE) to meet the Knights in a A District battle on Tuesday, August 22. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Lincoln Southeast won 17-0 in their recent league battle against Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE)
