Texas High School Volleyball - Eustace tips Athens

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Eustace Bulldogs (Eustace, TX) and the visiting Athens Hornets (Athens, TX), saw Eustace's volleyball squad nip Athens by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Eustace upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Frankston (Frankston, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Frankston won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Winona (Winona, TX)

The Hornets now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Terrell for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22. Athens will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
