The Bellevue Tigers volleyball team (Bellevue, KY), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Newport Wildcats (Newport, KY)

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds come into the District 36 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Newport Central Catholic was edged by Conner (Hebron, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Heritage Academy Eagles (Florence, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 22. Bellevue will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY).
