The Brantley County Herons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cook Hornets to 1 in the Herons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Herons now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valdosta for a non-league game on Saturday, August 19. Brantley County will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Brooks County was nudged by Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
