The Community Braves prevailed the host Oakwood Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Braves now have a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brownsboro for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Community will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX). The Bears record now stands at 9-4.
The Panthers (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Grapeland (Grapeland, TX). The Sandies enter the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Grapeland dropped by Caldwell (Caldwell, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
