The Denison Yellow Jackets held off the visiting Prairiland Patriots volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets now have a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Denison will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bells (Bells, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.
The Patriots (5-12) will now prepare for their test against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 4-2 record.
