In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fern Creek Tigers.
The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Seneca (Louisville, KY). The Red Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Seneca achieved victory over Butler (Louisville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) in a District 24 battle, on Monday, August 21. Fern Creek will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY).
