The North Hopkins Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Hooks Hornets to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sulphur Bluff for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 22. North Hopkins will meet a Bears team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Brook Hill (Bullard, TX). The Bears record now stands at 5-9.

The Hornets (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX). The Red Devils enter the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Chapel Hill was nudged by Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
