In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Kearsley Hornets.

The Patriots (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 11-1 record.

Next, the Hornets clash with the Genesee Wolves (Genesee, MI) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 29. Kearsley will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
