Kentucky High School Volleyball - Powell County Letcher County Central

The Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars prevailed the host Powell County Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars / Lady Cougars now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floyd Central for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Letcher County Central will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.

The Pirates (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Knott County Central gained a win over Breathitt County (Jackson, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
