The Pierce County Bears topped the host Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bears now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tattnall County for a 2A Area 3 test on Monday, August 21.
The Yellow Jackets (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Grace Christian Academy gained a win over Cook (Adel, GA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
