The Starr's Mill Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Newnan Cougars to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now have a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northgate for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 21. Starr's Mill will play a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Newnan drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Westlake (Atlanta, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 22. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 1-1.
