With the win, Marietta improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to face the Warriors in a test on Tuesday, August 20. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-1. North Cobb lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against North Paulding (Dallas, GA)

The Hawks now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Paulding for a non-league test on Thursday, August 22. Hillgrove will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 8-2.
