The Locust Grove Pirates triumphed over the visiting Afton Eagles softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Porter Pirates (Porter, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 20. Locust Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Foyil (Foyil, OK).
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairland (Fairland, OK). The Owls enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Fairland overcame Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK), 9-0, in a league challenge.
