Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 13-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Stephens County upgrades its record to 9-0 on the year. The Indians travel to Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 20. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 2-5. Elbert County lost 10-5 in their recent non-league game against Hart County (Hartwell, GA)

The Spartans now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a 3A Region 8 game on Tuesday, August 20. West Hall will play a Dragons squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-5.
