In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Perry County Central Commodores volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Jackson County Generals.

The Commodores (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Breathitt County was beaten by Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Generals meet the Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 21. Jackson County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, KY).
