The Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders to 0 in the Cougars / Lady Cougars league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars / Lady Cougars now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hazard for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 21. Letcher County Central will play a Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
