Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) boosters went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), 8-0 in a non-league outing.

The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Martin County (Inez, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays (Ripley, OH) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 20. Fleming County will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
