The Highlands Latin Highlanders (Louisville, KY) soccer overwhelmed the host Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY), 7-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Highlanders now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brown for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21. Highlands Latin will face a Bears team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.
The Bearcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Danville (Danville, KY). The Admirals enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Danville held off Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
