In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Martin County Cardinals soccer team scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Lawrence County Bulldogs.

With the triumph, Martin County advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Boyd County (Ashland, KY) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Boyd County won 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY)

The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles come into the District 57 game with a 4-0 record.
