North Carolina High School Volleyball - First Flight tips Perquimans

August 19, 2025: Hertford, NC 27944

In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting First Flight Nighthawks volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Perquimans Pirates.

With the win, First Flight advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Manteo (Manteo, NC) to face the Redskins in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Redskins go into the test with a record of 1-1. Manteo won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC)

The Pirates now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Rosewood for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 25. Perquimans will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
