Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) and the visiting Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), observed Robbinsville's volleyball team top Murphy by a count of 3-1.

The Black Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC). The Bears enter the contest with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 25. Murphy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Highlanders go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Andrews (Andrews, NC).
