The Byng Pirates softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Ardmore Tigers to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maud for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. Byng will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Wetumka (Wetumka, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 0-7.

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sulphur (Sulphur, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Sulphur was routed by Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK), 2-1, in a league challenge.
