The Bristow Pirates softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Berryhill Chiefs to 5 in the Pirates non-league win on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davenport for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. Bristow will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Depew (Depew, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.

The Chiefs (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK). The Comets enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Bishop Kelley got by Collinsville (Collinsville, OK), 3-2, in a league battle.
