Georgia High School Softball - Brentwood bounces Thomas Jefferson Academy

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Brentwood War Eagles softball team scored a nice 17-6 win over the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars.
The War Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Johnson (Gainesville, GA). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Johnson notched a victory over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA), 9-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 4 match, on Thursday, August 21. Thomas Jefferson Academy will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Buccaneers come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 5-0 league win over Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA).
