The Campbell Spartans softball team scored 20 runs and held the host McEachern Indians to 3 in the Spartans league win on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillgrove for a 6A Region 3 test on Tuesday, August 19. Campbell will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, McEachern moves to 2-2 on the season. The Indians host South Cobb (Austell, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a 6A Region 3 bout on Wednesday, August 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-4. South Cobb lost 10-4 in their recent non-league bout against Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA)
