Georgia High School Softball - Clinch County can't get by Charlton County

August 19, 2025: Folkston, GA 31537

The Charlton County Indians edged the visiting Clinch County Panthers softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Charlton County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 11-0 league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA).

The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Purple Hurricane come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Fitzgerald was tipped by Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA), 13-1, in a non-league battle.
