Next, the Eagles confront the Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) in a 4A Region 8 battle, on Thursday, August 21. Eastside will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 16-0 league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA).

With the loss, Morgan County moves to 1-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 27. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.
