The Turner County Titans softball squad (Ashburn, GA), was routed 11-0 in Tuesday's league match with the host Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA)

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-II Region 2 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Charlton County gained a win over Clinch County (Homerville, GA), 4-3, in a league match.

Next up, the Titans play the Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 game, on Thursday, August 21. Turner County will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 7-3 league win over Irwin County (Ocilla, GA).
