In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 18-1 victory over the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers.

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their match against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers go into the 1A D-II Region 3 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, McIntosh County Academy was routed by Jenkins County (Millen, GA), 12-0, in a league game.

The Buccaneers now hold a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Emanuel County Institute for a 1A D-II Region 3 game on Tuesday, August 19. McIntosh County Academy will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
