In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Appling County Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Wayne County Yellow Jackets.

The Pirates (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA). The Herons go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Brantley County went down by Appling County (Baxley, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tattnall County for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Wayne County will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-8.
