Nevada High School Volleyball - Basic can't get by Spring Valley

The Spring Valley Grizzlies edged the visiting Basic Wolves volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Grizzlies now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Las Vegas for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. Spring Valley will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Green Valley (Henderson, NV). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Basic drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wolves host Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Mountain Lions in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. The Mountain Lions go into the game with a record of 5-4. Sierra Vista lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Foothill (Henderson, NV)
