The Blue Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Plainsmen come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Monterey was nudged by Coronado (Lubbock, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans play the Paschal Panthers (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 21. Trinity will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Godley (Godley, TX).
