Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats (Bloomington, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Fayetteville lost by Burton (Burton, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats/Lady Cats play the Ganado Indians (Ganado, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Bloomington will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Danbury (Danbury, TX).
