North Carolina High School Volleyball - Erwin over Tuscola

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Erwin Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Tuscola Mountaineers.

The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Mitchell beat Unicoi County (Erwin, TN), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Mountaineers now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Henderson for a Mountain Eight 4A/5A test on Thursday, August 21. Tuscola will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 3-5.
