In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Falls City Beavers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs.

The Beavers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Luling (Luling, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record.

The Mustangs now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jones for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Nixon-Smiley will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 11-2.
