The Rivera Raiders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Harlingen South Hawks to 0 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raiders now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Port Isabel for a non-league game on Thursday, August 21. Rivera will confront a Tarpons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Raymondville (Raymondville, TX). The Tarpons record now stands at 2-7.
The Hawks (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Pace (Brownsville, TX). The Vikings go into the 5A Region IV District 32 game with a 7-2 record.
