North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hobgood Charter can't hold off Jones

The Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) volleyball held off the visiting Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hobbton for a non-league match on Thursday, August 21. Jones will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.

The Raiders (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Northside - Pinetown was nudged by Manteo (Manteo, NC), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
