In Tuesday's non-league battle, the Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV) volleyball squad toppled the visiting Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV), by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Indian Springs improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Non Varsity Opponent (, ) to encounter the in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 20. The go into the battle with a record of 6-19. Non Varsity Opponent lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Forsan (Forsan, TX)

Next, the Miners battle the Eldorado Firehawks (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 21. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Firehawks enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Western (Las Vegas, NV).
