The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders enter the District 62 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, East Carter notched a victory over Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 20. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY).
